At the 2025 China Refrigeration Exhibition, a reporter from Qianghua Information Refrigeration Express observed a large crowd at the booth of Zhejiang Xuanyuntong Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd. Their "hardcore matrix," comprised of independently produced "Hangbi" screw compressors, piston compressors, and parallel screw compressor units, showcased 36 patented technologies, declaring to the world that China's refrigeration equipment industry is carving out a new competitive landscape through independent innovation.
It is understood that Xuanyuntong's Hangbi compressors use core components and accessories from top international brands, receiving high praise in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Currently, they are mainly used in industries such as refrigeration, cold storage, food processing, cold chain logistics, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, industrial chillers, commercial refrigeration, fruit and vegetable preservation, agricultural input development, and air conditioning applications.
While the domestic refrigeration industry offers unlimited opportunities, it is also highly competitive. Zhejiang Xuanyuntong has taken a different approach, exporting its products to the Middle East and Africa, where they have been well-received. "The opportunity to export came from customers in the Philippines and Iran. They found a certain compressor brand constantly breaking down and thought their products were of poor quality. They came to Xuanyuntong by word of mouth. Since using our compressors, they've found the quality, cooling capacity, and other aspects to be excellent and very stable. They're no worse than foreign brands, and we've continued to cooperate," said Mr. Wang Qianlong, General Manager of Zhejiang Xuanyuntong.
The high repurchase rate from foreign customers reflects Xuanyuntong's genuine reputation in overseas markets. Mr. Wang Qianlong, General Manager of Zhejiang Xuanyuntong, has been in the refrigeration industry since 1998, starting with specialized technical expertise. He stated, "We use globally leading compressor R&D technology to strictly control our products, meticulously execute every detail, and implement a one-on-one service philosophy. Over the years, we've accumulated many loyal customers. We don't even need sales staff to go out and drum up business; our monthly orders are always packed."
