During the operation of the compressor, lubricating oil is essential for reducing friction between internal components and cooling the machine. The mixed oil and gas enters the separator, and the oil droplets are separated under the action of centrifugal force, gravity or filter media, then settle at the bottom of the separator and flow back to the compressor oil tank for recycling through the oil return pipe.
